I believe in the transformative power of music. Inspired by Joseph Campbell's "Follow Your Bliss," I invite you to embark on a journey of self-discovery and artistic expression.
My holistic approach emphasizes developing mind, body, and soul, fostering a supportive, inclusive environment. Under my guidance, students have achieved remarkable milestones: international competition wins, Carnegie Hall debuts, NATS National Finalists, talent agent signings, commercial/film appearances, and music releases. My students excel with a 90% graduation record, entering top performing arts programs in the US, Canada, and the UK.
My teaching philosophy is rooted in meeting you where you are—a unique blend of potential and curiosity. I bridge the gap between theory, technique, artistic expression, and performance art, creating a safe, trust-filled studio space where mistakes become growth opportunities.
With extensive experience as a professional singer, I’ve performed with renowned institutions such as Juilliard, Paris National Opera, New York City Opera, and the Metropolitan Opera. My roles include performances with the Lyric Opera of Chicago, Tony® Award-winning TheatreWorks (Sweeney Todd), Ray of Light Theatre (Jerry Springer: The Opera), and Broadway By the Bay (Fantine in Les Misérables). As an active member of NATS, ANATS, and AEA, I champion innovative and inclusive vocal education.
I specialize in teaching a diverse range of voices, including changing adolescent, transgender, and aging voices. My support extends beyond lessons, actively seeking performance opportunities for students. I am your cheerleader and champion, always encouraging the courageous singer within you.

WE'RE HEADING TO Nationals
What an incredible achievement for GVA’s Lilly Vogts! She has secured a spot in the top 15 for CCM (Pop music) in the County. The National Association of Teachers of Singing (NATS) has just revealed the 2024 semifinalists in the National Student Auditions, and Lilly is among the cream of the crop.
Out of over 1,000 participants in the preliminary auditions, Lilly has been selected as the ~15 top student-singers in her category. The next step? Live final auditions! The top three singers from each semifinal category will advance to compete for the ultimate prize. These talented performers represent students from NATS members across 14 American and Canadian regions, as well as the International Region, which spans six chapters across four continents. Lilly will showcase her vocal prowess in-person at the 58th NATS national conference, taking place from June 28 to July 2 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Let’s give her a standing ovation—BRAVI TUTTI!
