Appearing as Dot
Inspired by the French painter Georges Seurat’s painting A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte, Sunday in the Park with George contains some of Stephen Sondheim’s most beautiful music. The story revolves around George, a fictionalized version of Seurat, who immerses himself deeply in painting his masterpiece, and his great-grandson (also named George), a contemporary artist struggling to find his way to creating something new. One of the most acclaimed musicals of our time, Sunday in the Park with George won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and was nominated for an astounding 10 Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
Chaplin the Musical at Revival Theatre Company
May 30-June 2, 2019
(Appearing as Hedda)
From the slums of London to the heights of Hollywood, Chaplin is the showbiz musical about the silent film legend the world couldn’t stop talking about. Chaplin is really about a man who had to become the most famous man in the world before he could find happiness by becoming his true self. It is a bright, often funny, happily tuneful and ultimately a moving new musical. Revival Theatre Company will produce this show as one of only two theatres in the country post its Broadway run, before it hits London next year, with a new world premiere.
